Position Description:
The successful candidate will work in a flow cytometry core lab in support of the CCR, using various multi-laser systems to analyze cells based on multiple parameters. Primary responsibilities will include operation and maintenance of various BD benchtop flow cytometers. Assignments are of a highly specialized nature and require unusual technical proficiency and judgment. The successful candidate will also exercise independent judgment within a defined work scope.

Requirements:
Possession of a Bachelor degree from an accredited college/university in a field related to biomedical research or equivalent experience in the appropriate field. A minimum 3 years of related biomedical experience is required, including a background in biology, proficiency with computers, and basic flow cytometry skills.

Desired Skills:
Previous experience in the operation and maintenance of benchtop flow cytometers is desired.
